Privacy notice
This notice explains what personal data this site collects, why, where it goes and for how long, and what you can ask me to do with it. It follows the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and French law.
Who is responsible
Márton Víg, sole trader (EI) trading as VM Solutions, 24 rue Stéhelin, Bât. C, Apt 2085, 33200 Bordeaux, France. Contact: solutions@vigmarton.com.
What I collect, and why
The contact form. When you send a request, I collect your name, email address, the company you name, the URL you give, what you need, your budget band, your message and the language you used. I use them to answer your request and, if you ask for it, to prepare the free written check. The legal basis is your consent, given with the checkbox under the form, and my legitimate interest in answering a request you sent me.
Abuse prevention. The form records a hashed version of your IP address (a one-way fingerprint, not the address itself) to limit repeated submissions. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in keeping the form working. The hash is deleted with the submission.
Email. If you write to me directly, I keep our correspondence to handle your request.
I don't collect anything else, and I don't sell or share your data for advertising.
Where the data goes
I use three service providers, which process the data on my instructions and under contracts that meet GDPR requirements:
- Vercel Inc. (United States), which hosts the site and runs the form's server code. Vercel applies the EU standard contractual clauses for transfers outside the EU.
- Supabase, which stores form submissions in a database located in the European Union (AWS, Ireland).
- Resend (United States), which sends the notification to me and the confirmation to you. Resend applies the EU standard contractual clauses.
Nobody else receives your data unless the law requires it.
How long I keep it
- Form submissions are deleted from the database 90 days after you send them. A scheduled job runs every week.
- Our email correspondence is kept while I handle your request, then for up to 3 years after our last exchange so I can follow up, unless you ask me to delete it earlier. If we sign a contract, the records the law requires are kept for the legal retention periods.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses one cookie, a functional cookie named NEXT_LOCALE, which remembers the language you chose and expires at the end of your browsing session. It uses no advertising or tracking cookies.
Visits are measured with Vercel Web Analytics, which works without cookies and without identifying you: it records aggregated page views and the type of device and browser, not who you are. No consent banner is needed for this, and you can't be traced across other sites.
Your rights
You can, at any time:
- see the data I hold about you (access),
- have it corrected (rectification),
- have it deleted (erasure),
- have its use restricted (restriction),
- object to a use based on my legitimate interest (objection),
- receive the data you gave me in a reusable format (portability),
- withdraw your consent, which doesn't affect what was done before.
Write to solutions@vigmarton.com. I answer within one month. If you think your rights aren't respected, you can complain to the French data protection authority, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
Changes
I update this notice when the site or the way I handle data changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
